What it is
FuelTrack checks entries on the server as they are saved. These are simple, strict rules that close the most common gaps at a petrol pump.
How it works
Price lock: amounts are recalculated from today's stored rate; mismatched totals are rejected.
Payment must tally: a salesman's cash + UPI + card + credit + other must equal meter litres × rate.
Credit limits: sales above a customer's available credit are blocked.
Shift close: checklist, counted cash vs expected, and variance recorded.
Stock: book stock vs dip variance and low-stock alerts.
Fast repeats: two sales on the same nozzle under 60 seconds apart are flagged.
Why it matters
When the rules are in the software, nobody has to be the bad guy at the end of the shift.
The value first entered is kept separately from any later correction.
Price changes, credit-limit changes, staff permissions and sale edits are written to an audit log.
