What it is
For every salesman and nozzle, the manager enters the closing meter reading and how the money came in: cash, UPI, card, credit or other. FuelTrack works out litres and value from today's rate and checks that the money matches.
How it works
Open the shift with the opening cash. Opening meter readings are carried forward from the last closing automatically.
At handover, pick the salesman and nozzle, enter the closing meter, any test litres, and the payment split.
If the payment split does not equal meter litres × today's rate, the entry is not accepted until it is corrected.
Close the shift. FuelTrack checks every salesman has submitted, then compares counted cash with expected cash and records the difference.
Why it matters
Readings, payments and cash are captured at handover, while the salesman is still at the pump.
Cash variance is recorded per shift, so a gap is a specific conversation, not a month-end mystery.
Each entry can be printed as a slip showing meter readings, litres and the payment split.
One rate board for the whole day — no sale is recorded without it.
